Campsites
The campsites in Hossa and Suomussalmi offer a cozy place to stay overnight or for a longer holiday. South of the city centre is Finncamping Kangasjoki campsite, while in Suomussalmi’s northern part, Hossa, you can stay at up to three different campsites – Hossanportti, Camping Hossa Lumo and Karhunkainalo campsite.

Caravans are welcome in Suomussalmi all year round!
Although most campsites are closed during the winter season, caravanners don´t need to miss out Suomussalmi in winter. Guesthouse Kuutamo and Hotel Kiannon Kuohut, In the centre of Suomussalmi, rent parking spaces for both motorhomes and caravans.
