Join a guided hiking tour to the Värikallio rock paintings in Hossa National Park. This experience takes you to one of Finland’s most remarkable prehistoric rock art sites, located along an ancient water route on the shore of Lake Somerjärvi.

The Värikallio paintings are unique, featuring stick-like elk figures and unusual human shapes. The paintings can be viewed up close from a purpose-built viewing platform.

The tour follows the approximately 8 km Värikallio Loop Trail. Along the way, we stop to enjoy the surrounding nature and take a relaxing snack break. Your guide will share stories about the history and nature of the area.

The hike is done at a comfortable pace and is suitable for participants with basic fitness.
