Cabin Laatikainen

Mökki Laatikainen is a detached house available for rent during the summer and autumn seasons, with accommodation for up to 8 people.

The old detached house is located in the owner’s yard and includes 3 bedrooms (total 8 beds, with an option for extra beds), a kitchen, living room, and WC.

Amenities include electric lighting and heating, electric stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, hot and cold running water, kitchenware, TV, radio, a boat, and a lakeside sauna. The distance to the shore is approximately 50 meters. A grill hut is located by the lake.

Pets are allowed at no extra charge.

Rental period: June 1 – October 31

Prices from:

• €70/night for 1–2 persons

• €90/night for 3–4 persons + €10/night per additional person

• Weekly rate by agreement

The price includes bed linen and final cleaning.

A cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking price will be charged if the cancellation is not made at least four days before the start of the reservation.

Location: Korvua village, on the shore of Lake Korvuanjärvi, at the border of Suomussalmi and Taivalkoski.

Driving directions:
From the center of Suomussalmi, drive approximately 65 km north on E63 (Highway 5) to Peranka. Turn left onto Perangantie and continue for about 17 km toward Pyhäkylä. Then drive approximately 6 km along Vääräjärventie toward Metsäkylä and Korvua.
