Along the route (3.2 km), interesting signposts and traces in the terrain tell you about the geology of the area and the past and present industries. For example, tar burning, ore from lakes, water mills, meadow fires and the soapstone industry are shown to the hiker. In addition, Isokallio, a guest book made of stone, is considered a special feature of the Saarikylä.
