Hotel Ämmän Hotelli is located one kilometer from the center of Suomussalmi and is open year-round.

The hotel has two floors. On the ground floor, there are five rooms for 3–4 people. Each room includes a kitchenette, toilet, shower, and TV. One of the rooms is pet-friendly.

Upstairs, there are four rooms for 2–3 people. All of these rooms have a TV, shower, and toilet. The kitchen facilities are shared. Pets are not allowed in these rooms.

There are also two family rooms (for 4–6 people) on the upper floor, each equipped with a fully equipped kitchenette, TV, toilet, and shower.

The hotel offers a shared sauna, a spacious bathroom, and a lounge area that can be used for meetings or sauna evenings. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. There is also a large parking area with free parking. A limited number of electric car sockets are available.
