The Circus Festival ÄMMÄ 2025 13.6.-14.6.2025
The Circus Festival ÄMMÄ, organized by TipTop Walkers, brings captivating circus vibes once again to Ämmänsaari, Suomussalmi this June! This inspiring family-friendly event features a program that includes the Ämmä’s Circus Medley held at the local Teatteri Retikka, as well as an open-air event. The Circus Medley is a diverse collection of solo acts performed by circus artists, and this year’s show includes juggling, hand balancing, and Swiss ball acrobatics, among others.
The open-air event will showcase excerpts from TipTop Walkers’ latest original production, along with the newest performance Mulliville by the internationally acclaimed Race Horse Company. In addition to the shows, the outdoor event will also feature a circus workshop and lots of other fun activities!

Fri 13.6. Ämmä’s Circus Medley at 18:00, Teatteri Retikka (duration approx. 40 min)
Sat 14.6. Open-air event at 12:00, Jätkänpuisto (duration approx. 3 h)
In case of rain, the outdoor event will be moved indoors to the Suomussalmi Sports Hall, Urheilukatu 4.
Tickets for performances: €5–€20, available in advance from Tiketti or on-site before the show. Ticket sales open soon! The outdoor event is free of charge.
The event is organized by the multidisciplinary arts association TipTop Walkers ry in cooperation with the Municipality of Suomussalmi and Teatteri Retikka.
