Reindeer Farm Visit with Sleigh Ride

At the reindeer farm called Korpiporo, less than 10 kilometers from the center of Suomussalmi, you can get to know the everyday life of a reindeer owner. At the farm you can meet and feed reindeer, have a reindeer sleigh ride or take photos. There are also souvenirs made from reindeer horns for sale. At the end of the visit, you can taste the lapinukko soup. A group of 45 persons fits well in the atmospheric hut.

Suopunki is a traditional type of lasso to catch reindeer. At the farm, it is also possible to test it yourself.
