Hossa-Martinselkonen Trail

The Hossa-Martinselkonen trail is part of the Eastern Border Summer Hiking Trail, a wilderness hiking trail along the eastern border of Kainuu. The Eastern Border Summer Hiking Trail can be divided into sections of a day or two. The route can be followed in full or in part. The starting and ending points of the sections are all the intersections of the side roads branching off to the eastern border of the Hossantie/Juntusrannantie road (road No 843) and the hiking trail. The area has good camping facilities and is therefore well suited to a two to three-day hike. The summer hiking trail is marked by blue markers.
