The waters in Suomussalmi, especially Hossa offer excellent capabilities for stand-up paddleboarding. In Hossa, you can for instance relax by SUP-boarding by the Värikallio rock paintings.  Visitors can take a multi-day trip by combining SUP-boarding with the resting places along them. Hossa National Park’s many wilderness cabins, lean-to-shelters and campfire sites also serve those who are travelling on the park’s waterways.
