Seipiniemi Wilderness Experience Centre in Hossa

Seipiniemi is a unique and atmospheric wilderness experience centre located by the waters of Hossa. This historic site, where people have lived and travelled long before modern trails and maps, offers a peaceful setting to pause and connect with nature.

The atmosphere of Seipiniemi is present throughout the day, but it is especially magical in the evening. The quiet forest, the nearby lake and the warm surroundings create a memorable experience.

The area includes a bookable dining venue with long tables, a fireplace and large windows overlooking the lake. The fire visible through the glass doors of the fireplace adds warmth and atmosphere to the space.

Meals can be arranged on-site, brought along, or ordered from the Hossa Visitor Centre.

A traditional smoke sauna is also available, accommodating around 15 people at a time. The soft heat, dim lighting and gentle steam create a relaxing and authentic sauna experience.
