Jatkonsalmen Pääpirtti Lumberjack’s Apartment – group accommodation in Hossa National Park
Jatkonsalmi Pääpirtti is a traditional log-built wilderness lodge located in Hossa National Park, by Lake Jatkonjärvi. The lodge combines authentic Finnish forestry heritage with modern facilities, making it ideal for larger groups.
Pääpirtti accommodates up to 28 people and is well suited for school camps, group travel, training events and company retreats. It features multiple rooms, a kitchen, dining and meeting areas, as well as shower and toilet facilities.
Guests also have access to a lakeside sauna, swimming area and boats, shared with the nearby Teräväpää cabin. Outdoor facilities include a barbecue shelter, campfire site and smoking oven.
Additional services such as meals, guided tours and activity programmes can be arranged through the Hossa Nature Centre.
