Hossan Hoikka – wilderness cabin on a private island in Hossa

Hossan Hoikka is a unique wilderness cabin located on a private island on Lake Hossanjärvi, near Hossa National Park. This peaceful retreat offers complete privacy surrounded by nature.

The cabin is accessed by rowing approximately 300 metres across the lake. There are no other cabins on the island, allowing you to fully enjoy the silence and natural surroundings.

The cabin accommodates up to six people and includes a main living area, kitchen and sleeping spaces. Heating is provided by a wood-burning stove. There is no running water – water is carried from the lake and drinking water must be brought along.

The property also includes a sauna, private shoreline and a rowing boat. A covered terrace offers a perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery.

This cabin is ideal for anglers, hikers and anyone looking for a peaceful off-grid experience.
