Villa Lähteenkorva
Villa Lähteenkorva 64 m² is a log cabin built in 2003 from laminated logs. The cabin is located in the northern part of fish-rich Lake Kiantajärvi on the eastern shore.
The cabin is available for rent year-round.
Pets are allowed.
On the ground floor of the cabin there is a living room with a kitchen area and a separate bedroom with a double bed. The ground floor also has a sauna with an electric heater, a washroom with a shower, and a toilet.
Upstairs there is a bedroom with two separate beds. The living area has a TV and a sofa bed.
The equipment includes electric heating, an air-source heat pump, electric lighting, refrigerator, freezer, electric stove, electric oven, microwave oven, coffee maker, kettle, washing machine, tumble dryer, central vacuum cleaner, TV, radio, DVD player, and a fireplace-baking oven.
By the shore there is a separate lakeside sauna. The sauna building has a sauna with a wood-burning heater, a washroom with a cauldron for heating washing water, and a separate dressing room.
In front of the sauna there is a wood-heated hot tub. The hot tub is not in use during the coldest frost period from 1.1 to 15.3. There is also a grill hut and a large terrace area in front of it.
There is also a dog enclosure with a doghouse.
Activities include hunting, fishing, swimming, outdoor activities, hiking, berry picking, and mushroom picking. A snowmobile trail is about 1 km away. Nearby tourism includes the cultural, war history, and nature sites of Suomussalmi.
