Holiday House Miero
Holiday House Miero is a cottage available for rent during the summer season that has capacity for 2+7 people.
Premises:
Insulated log cabin, constructed in 1998, living space 70 m2.
Downstairs there is a combined living room and kitchen (32 m2) with 1-2 extra beds, bedroom (9 m2) with double bed, terrace (15 m2), sauna, toilet. Loft (35m2) with 6 mattress beds, open balcony.
Lovely and cozy sami hut. Price: 10 € (during the cottage rent).
Equipment: Electric heating, light and cooking stove, microwave, fireplace and brick oven, refrigerator, set of dishes, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine for laundry, TV, CD-radio, coffeemaker, running cold and warm water (water from a spring).
Sauna: always ready electric stove, shower.
Terms of renting: The cottage is available at 2.00 pm on the arriving day, until 12.00 am on the departure day. In case of inappropriate behaviour during the stay, the renting can be discontinued with an hour notice and the payment won’t be returned. Additional fee for the cleaning the cottage after leaving is 60 €.
No pets allowed.
Period of tenancy: 1.5.-15.10. (minimum 2 days)

Location:
From Suomussalmi center about 41 km to the east. Located by the Lake Raatejärvi and near the border of Russia. Half of the lake is on the side of Russia, but it’s allowed to swim and fish on the shore of the cottage.
Driving instructions: From Suomussalmi center drive for 2,5 km along the highway E63 (5) to the south. Then turn left and drive along the road 912 for 2 km and turn again left (the same road 912). After 1,5 km turn right and drive along the road Kuhmontie (912) for 15 km. Then turn left (Raate useum Road 9125) and drive the road almost to the end (18 km). Before the Raate Frontier Guard Museum turn left (there’s a white brick house) and drive the road Raatejärventie straight for 500 m.
