Guesthouse Karhun Pesä

Majatalo Karhun Pesä is located just two kilometers from Raate Road and Raatteen Portti Winter War Museum along Kuhmontie. Suomussalmi municipal center is 21 kilometres away. The building is historical and has previously served as a village school. Did you know that in the same place during the Winter War, was the wartime entrapment area Haukila.

The Guesthouse has three rooms of different sizes with 2–6 beds. There is a shared kitchen and dining area with a dining table for 10 persons. Majatalo Karhun Pesä is a perfect place to stay, also for a small group.

Accommodation can be booked from the 1st. of May to 30th of November. Note! No short-term accommodation. Accommodation is only offered for at least two days at a time. Longer-term rentals are agreed separately. Giving/returning the keys according to agreement.
